About the CPD course
The training was designed together with and for migrant and refugee women within the framework of the 3-year Comic Relief funded project "Gender and Justice Empowerment" project. It will be delivered together with IARS Women’s Advisory Board members who are refugee women themselves. This is an interactive workshop to enhance understanding of the rights and entitlements of victims of crimes under the EU Victims Directive; in particular gender based violence crimes.
The IARS International Institute has a charitable mission to give everyone a chance to forge a safer, fairer and more inclusive society. We achieve our charitable aims by producing evidence-based solutions to current social problems, sharing best practice and by supporting young people and the community to shape decision making. We aspire to be a leader in creating new knowledge and forming public and expert opinion internationally.
