About the CPD course
The primary purpose of the seminar is to raise awareness of the potential risk UXO can pose to construction projects in the UK. Following the presentation; attendees will have an understanding of why UXO can be an issue; with some knowledge of potential sources of historic contamination/means by which UXO could end up on a construction site. An increased familiarity with types of UXO and very basic recognition will be gained; with a better understanding of when UXO should be considered in a project lifecycle; how the risk is assessed; and what the options/methods are for mitigation of the risk.
