This one-day course provides a comprehensive overview of the principles and practices of potable water testing. Designed for those involved in water management; from estates departments to water sampling technicians and water management companies. The course covers the following topics: 1) The principles of microbiology; 2) Techniques for identifying microorganisms; e.g.; Legionella and Pseudomonas; 3) Regulations applicable in potable water testing; 4) Interpretation of test results; 5) The journey of the water sample from sampling to the lab. This course will help to gain a better understanding of the microbiology of potable water and develop the skills necessary to collect and interpret water samples.

Established for over 10 years, we offer a full range of microbiological services, including; Hospital Analysis, Medical Device Analysis, Cleanroom Testing and Potable Water Analysis such as Legionella and Pseudomonas aeruginosa testing. We offer training courses to enhance the understanding of key personnel involved in the decontamination of medical devices and those involved or responsible for water quality. We cover aspects such as Basic Microbiology, Aseptic Technique and the testing methods used within the laboratory.
