About the CPD course

The training is designed to introduce the training audience to the requirements of writing an Emergency Plan by utilising an easy to follow 6-step process. and also once written it provides the information required to validate the plans. This course is designed for anyone responsible for creating and developing emergency plans and arrangements for their organisation. The 6-step process will outlining the legal aspects, good practice and professional requirements of effective emergency plans.

Additionally, you might have plans and procedures in place to deal with major incidents or disruption to services, but have you validated them? The most effective way to confirm that your plans, people and procedures are robust and resilient is by exercising. If you have a responsibility to; design, develop and deliver of exercises, this course will teach you how to deliver exercises built on SMART objectives. The course was utilised by other organisations as it was recognised as ‘good practice’ throughout the UK. Whether you are exercising your own organisation or as part of a wider multi-agency partnership, this course will meet these needs.
