An introductory course to learn about equality and diversity. The course is perfect for an organisations Equality and Diversity Lead and group. The course takes the learner through what E&D is; and how it is embedded in the Equality Act 2010. Itll help people understand their own and their employers responsibilities and how to promote diversity in the work place. It also includes an introduction to the nine protected characteristics and the different types of discrimination. Finally we develop an equality and diversity action plan; providing templates to help the learner create a relevant action plan to their own organisation.
