About the CPD course
Many people dislike or are bad at maths; for a child or young person with Maths Learning Difficulties (MLD) or dyscalculia; it is much more complex than this. MLD is a term that describes problems with learning number facts and applying them and also difficulties in carrying out mathematical procedures such as written calculations. This session looks at identifying and distinguishing between maths learning difficulties and dyscalculia in children and young people. It will enable you to better recognise any anxiety around maths; and to offer appropriate support.
