Managing Meetings

A practical insight into how to plan for; effectively deliver and follow up on high quality external meetings; such as Scientific Advisory Boards; presenting to external agencies or managing booths at congress. All skills learned are relevant for managing internal meetings such as conferences and copy approval meetings. Practical elements covered include utilising a checklist in preparation; dealing with difficult situations; managing difficult people; handling difficult questions; adopting a professional and confident style for 1:1s and in small groups. The practice and feedback ensures you leave with significantly more confidence to do this than when you arrived. Different kinds of meeting scenarios are created and you will role-play different attendees and practise dealing with various scenarios. Each practical session is filmed and you will be coached on how you can improve your performance in better handling difficult meeting situations in the future.
