One of the main entry routes to professional analysis is through an internship or studentship at a professional club. These placements give you the opportunity to gain skills and network with football professionals. Sometimes a placement is almost an extended job interview: as an intern; you’re well-placed when it comes time for the club to hire a new analyst.
