About the CPD course
Safer schools aims to provide you with a greater understanding of causal factors of childrens behaviour; positive behaviour management and de-escalation strategies. To offer your setting the confidence and training to encourage positive relationships to reduce the need for restraint only when reasonable; necessary and proportionate. The programme is first and foremost designed to show how to follow the steps needed to stop situations escalating with individuals. The training provides Leadership with the knowledge and understanding of the Legislation; Guidance; Health and Safety requirements around physical restraint. Helping to protect and safeguard colleagues and children through a Graduated Approach.
