The AVPM is a training programme that enhances the knowledge and practical skills of healthcare professionals in prolapse management and vaginal pessary fitting. It blends education; hands-on training; and one year mentorship. Participants will gain insight into critical aspects of vaginal pessary management based on UK guidelines. It covers theory and practical skills such as speculum examination; POPQ grading and establishing a successful pessary fitting service. What sets this program apart is its commitment to real-world experiential learning; led by experts in pelvic health and facilitated through Clinical Teaching Associates (CTAs); Patient Teaching Associates (PTAs); and peer-to-peer knowledge exchange.
Beyond Healthcare Academy Ltd, is the educational arm of Infiniti Healthcare, a specialist women's health clinic in Cardiff, South Wales. The academy was founded in 2021 by Nadia and Kiron Bhal, Consultant Gynaecologists, Pelvic Health and Menopause experts. Merging Kiron's medicolegal proficiency, Nadia's passion for teaching, and their commitment to helping others the academy was born.
