About the CPD course
This course is intended for valve and actuator manufacturers who are being asked to supply products with a Safety Integrity Level (SIL) capability. The course starts with a general overview of the whole subject before delving into the technical detail. Attendees will then understand where a ‘SIL’ comes from; the importance of clear safety requirements; design analysis; and quality assurance measures which are all required to meet the SIL.
Established in 1939, the British Valve and Actuator Association represents the interests of over 200 British companies which are responsible for over £1billion sales each year. BVAA member companies employ more than 9,000 personnel directly in manufacturing and an equal number in support industries.
BVAA's VISION is to be the Voice of our Industry while delivering business opportunities for our members. Our mission is to create value for our members by providing excellent business networks, new business opportunities, industry recognised training, technical expertise and influence.
