About the CPD course
The Black Health Improvement Programme (BHIP) is an innovative initiative designed to enhance health literacy among service providers: GPs: and healthcare staff. This programme aims to address health disparities within Black communities by equipping healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to deliver culturally competent care. BHIP provides unique tools to address challenges faced by Black populations. It discusses some of the unique cultural nuances of the Caribbeans and Africans and provides deeper understanding of cultural sensitivities and health needs. BHIP strives to improve health outcomes and promote equity in healthcare services for Black individuals and families.
