This Drug & Alcohol Awareness session will provide you with the skills and knowledge to have informal conversations around drug and alcohol use and if appropriate ; offer brief advice to promote safer ; healthier drug and alcohol use. Topics covered include: Reasons for drug and alcohol use; Health issues associated with drug and alcohol use; Spotting signs and symptoms of alcohol use; Spotting signs and symptoms of drug use; New and emerging drug trends; Drug categories; How to offer basic brief advice in relation to drugs and/or alcohol.
Change Grow Live has grown from a tiny volunteer-led Sussex-based organisation, to a nationwide charity that helps tens of thousands of people each day. Since we first started, one goal has driven everything we do: to make a difference in people’s lives. That’s still what drives us now.
