About the CPD course
Exploring Maths in the Early Years has been written to help practitioners gain a better understanding about how early maths can be taught and incorporated into our daily routines with children. It looks at how the foundations for maths are vital for later schooling and life-long skills. The course is broken down into understanding number; shapes; patterns and sequencing and spatial awareness. It addresses how all aspects of maths can be included into everyone’s curriculum both indoors and out and how we can work with parents to encourage and teach early maths at home.
