This seminar gives an introduction into passive fire protection: the regulations and the materials used to achieve compliance. We review the key requirement of the relevant legislation. Discuss approved document B. Explain responsibilities highlighted in the regulatory reform order. Explain common fire stopping methods and how to check its correct instillation. Discuss fire doors: their uses and how to check their compliance. We then demonstrate the live instillation of a fire door and common fire stops in our training room.
