About the CPD course
The Simulation Faculty Development Day is a one-day workshop designed to equip senior healthcare professionals with the skills and knowledge required to effectively integrate high-fidelity simulation into their teaching programmes. Delivered by an interprofessional team; including a Doctor; Nurse; and Operating Department Practitioner; the course promotes collaborative learning and skills development among healthcare educators. This workshop encourages interactive and practical engagement with simulation technology; allowing participants to enhance their competency in designing and delivering effective simulation scenarios. Pre-brief and post scenario debriefing skills are included and incorporate ‘debriefing practice’; whereby participants have opportunities to practice debriefing skills on each other.
