Committee of Advertising Practice

Committee of Advertising Practice

The Committee of Advertising Practice (CAP) is responsible for writing and maintaining the Advertising Codes. CAP is the sister organisation of the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), who is the UK’s independent regulator of advertising across all media. Together we work to support the industry to help them get their ads right before they are published. We do this by providing guidance, pre-publication advice and training for the industry.
