About the CPD course
Learners in our care can present with executive function skills challenges. These learning differences are often associated with neurodivergence or trauma; which impairs the development of the prefrontal cortex so that learners find it more challenging to develop these skills. With clearer insights into the executive functioning challenges our learners face; learning support professionals can provide tailored screening and support to build self-awareness; identify skills gaps they can work on; and help teachers set work within their learners' zones of proximal development.
