About the CPD course
This course explores all areas of giving a paper or presentation at a Business or Academic conference; including eye contact; scripting; stance; pacing; the use of visual aids; and networking. It is suitable to anybody who seeks to speak at conferences; at any level; but is most suited to the beginner. Note – this course does not cover abstract and biography writing – this is a separate course. It is aimed primarily at novices; but is also suitable for those who are returning to the field or simply know they could improve.
We aim to support you to reach your potential, as an academic, a business provider, a student, an autistic person making their way in the world, or as a family, friend or professional working with someone who is on the autistic spectrum..
There are three complementary sides to our company – business, academic and autism support. They fit together nicely as our skills and experience have been built in all three communities. Our clients come from all walks of life, including the arts. You can be a member of any and all of these communities or none to benefit from our services.
