About the CPD course
‘Active Connection’ aims to improve understanding of children’s behaviour as communication and to enhance knowledge of the hidden and expressed need. It will cultivate a greater understanding of neurodiversity and can help to shape an inclusive approach. Active Connection will provide an opportunity to develop skills; with the aim of equipping each individual with greater potential to self-regulate and co-regulate tricky behaviour.
Curiosity Project is a collective of wholehearted therapists who specialise in working with children, young people and their families.
We are committed to a relational approach of working with the aim of promoting and sustaining positive change for all involved. We approach this through offering highly skilled professional support to the child, parents, carers and school staff. We listen carefully to the experience of the individual and make every effort to hear the voice of the child no matter how they choose to express themselves.
