About the CPD course
Non-contact presence detection is one of the three ways that powered doors; gates and barriers can be prevented from injuring people and achieve compliance with EN 12453. However; in 2000 when the standard was first published; non-contact presence detection technology was not commonly used. Now that these systems have been developed and refined; this approach to safety and compliance is gaining popularity. This webinar explains how to assess non-contact presence detection on industrial & garage doors; powered gates; and traffic barriers under EN 12453.
