Domestic Abuse Education
About the CPD course
Aimed at employers and those who are in the working world; this session covers what domestic abuse is; along with the forms it takes; the signs to look out for; how to start a conversation; how to refer to support; the importance of a domestic abuse policy/guidance and how to take the first steps in taking a stand against abuse. The course is brought to life throughout; with the real-life experience that is discussed by Sharon Livermore; who delivers this session.
Domestic Abuse Education was founded by Sharon Livermore, a Domestic Abuse Survivor and present-day Campaigner; she uses her lived experience, and knowledge to educate businesses and raise awareness of domestic abuse. Our mission is simple: To educate and train businesses across the UK on what domestic abuse is and the true difference they can make to each of their employees, who may currently, or in the future, experience domestic abuse; whilst ensuring every business has a Domestic Abuse Policy in place.
