About the CPD course
A day retreat to learn the principles and science of functional breathing in combination with practising eight different breathing techniques to help improve sleep; stress resilience and exercise tolerance. Guests will receive a functional breathing booklet to enable them to reflect and explore bringing their learning into everyday life. In addition; Natassja; holistic plant-based chef; will teach the concept of intuitive eating helping to develop a deeper connection with food; understanding hunger and fullness cues whilst fostering a positive relationship with eating. Natassja will guide practising intuitive eating throughout the day with the delicious and nutritious food and drink provided.
Breathing is an automatic process that is not automatically efficient. Efficient breathing, promotes health and well-being, and at rest and during sleep uses the nose, is quiet, slow, driven by the diaphragm. Breathing re-education retrains the body to breathe efficiently which can lead to improvements in sleep, feeling calmer and reduced breathlessness with movement. Breathing efficiently provides the basic foundation for every cell, tissue, organ and system in the body to work efficiently. How we breathe matters. We can change how we breathe.
