About the CPD course
As part of our outdoor learning package; this initial session outlines the wide range of benefits of being outdoors on children’s health; wellbeing and development. We will discuss some of the challenges and barriers that early years providers may face when attempting to enhance children's experiences of the outdoors; and consider ways to overcome them.
The Early Years Alliance is the largest and most representative early years membership organisation in England. We support early years providers to deliver quality, affordable and sustainable care and learning to families, and work to ensure that all children, regardless of background, are given the best possible start in life. The Alliance’s vision is a society where every child enjoys the same opportunity to learn through play. We believe families should be at the centre of policy-making and parents empowered to become more involved with their child’s learning and development.
