Securing effective and dynamic partnerships with families is an essential part of the educator role and leads to ensuring the best outcomes for the children in early years provision; as reinforced in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and throughout Ofsted’s Early Years Inspection Handbook. Learners will be able to explore what makes a parental partnership ‘effective’ and consider through discussion why effective partnership is so vitally important. This course is suitable for early years educators; managers and room leaders and home-based educators (childminding professionals).
The Early Years Alliance is the largest and most representative early years membership organisation in England. We support early years providers to deliver quality, affordable and sustainable care and learning to families, and work to ensure that all children, regardless of background, are given the best possible start in life. The Alliance’s vision is a society where every child enjoys the same opportunity to learn through play. We believe families should be at the centre of policy-making and parents empowered to become more involved with their child’s learning and development.
