About the CPD course
Early years education and care charities can make a major contribution to the lives of young children and offer huge benefits for local families. This course covers the role of trustees and their responsibility as the 'registered person'. The information explores the importance of understanding the Early Years Foundation Stage; giving some detail on duties relating to staff management and the statutory safeguarding and welfare requirements.
The Early Years Alliance is the largest and most representative early years membership organisation in England. We support early years providers to deliver quality, affordable and sustainable care and learning to families, and work to ensure that all children, regardless of background, are given the best possible start in life. The Alliance’s vision is a society where every child enjoys the same opportunity to learn through play. We believe families should be at the centre of policy-making and parents empowered to become more involved with their child’s learning and development.
