About the CPD course
The United Nations Convention of the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) is international legislation that defines children's rights and most countries in the world have signed onto this agreement. This course explores how children's rights are enshrined in other statutory guidance and looks at how children's voices can be heard in everyday practice so that they are protected from harm.
The Early Years Alliance is the largest and most representative early years membership organisation in England. We support early years providers to deliver quality, affordable and sustainable care and learning to families, and work to ensure that all children, regardless of background, are given the best possible start in life. The Alliance’s vision is a society where every child enjoys the same opportunity to learn through play. We believe families should be at the centre of policy-making and parents empowered to become more involved with their child’s learning and development.
