About the CPD course
All behaviour is a form of communication and is often how children tell adults about a need they have or emotion they are experiencing. This course supports educators to further their understanding; by firstly defining the term behaviour; and goes on to look at the many influences on children’s behaviour. Advice is given on supporting common behaviour issues; with strategies outlined to be used when more persistent and challenging behaviours present themselves in the setting.
The Early Years Alliance is the largest and most representative early years membership organisation in England. We support early years providers to deliver quality, affordable and sustainable care and learning to families, and work to ensure that all children, regardless of background, are given the best possible start in life. The Alliance’s vision is a society where every child enjoys the same opportunity to learn through play. We believe families should be at the centre of policy-making and parents empowered to become more involved with their child’s learning and development.
