About the CPD course
This course explores the theoretical; practical; and ethical aspects of inclusive care for LGBTQ+ individuals within the UK health and social care sector. It focuses on fostering understanding and awareness of diverse sexual orientations and gender identities; emphasizing respectful communication; equitable access to care; and legal compliance. Participants will gain insight into reducing bias; supporting LGBTQ+ individuals effectively; and creating inclusive environments in care settings. The training is designed for carers and nurses; offering 90 to 120 minutes of interactive; online learning suitable for entry-level to advanced learners.
