This course is designed to teach military and security leaders and tacticians how to apply a strategic lens to their decision-making. The two-day course provides an overview of strategic-level documents, such as the AUMF, the current NSS and NDS, and how these apply to counterterrorism, irregular warfare, and strategic competition. Members of the military and security community will learn how their activities fit into the broader bureaucratic, political, and international context and how this broader context shapes their day-to-day activities.
