Empowering the next generation
About the CPD course
Our lead trainer Danielle; is a qualified primary teacher; who experienced sexual abuse as a young child. This training course is delivered from this unique perspective and is underpinned by trauma-informed knowledge. The objectives of the program are to help those working with children and young people understand behaviour; the communication behind it; whilst providing simple; actionable strategies to use in those heightened moments; alongside relatable examples to model what this looks like in reality.
There will be lots of room for discussion so the trainer can help you work with the specific behaviours you are experiencing in your workplace.
Empowering the next generation objectives are to develop knowledge and programs that will provide benefit to those who are invested in the future of ‘children and young people who have experienced ACEs’.
We want to help empower children and young people to be who they are meant to be, through highlighting, and teaching, adults within their community what trauma is, its implications, and how to support those in their care.
We are truly excited that we have developed a compassionate approach to understanding and addressing behavioural issues that provide simple strategies and solutions that truly work.
Our soul purpose is to reach those children who just need to be heard
