About the CPD course
Substance misuse can damage your health; expose you and others around you to harm; and may eventually lead to serious health; social and financial problems. Understanding the risks associated with drug and alcohol misuse; and knowing how to spot the signs that people might be struggling; is a key part of preventing substance misuse in the workplace. This course will raise your awareness of substance misuse and its consequences. You’ll learn how to identify signs of misuse; understand its effects on workplace safety and productivity; and find out how to offer support to affected individuals.
