About the CPD course

This seminar provides an overview of lightning phenomena and methods of protection against it according to various standards - in particular the British Standard BS EN 62305 - and an appreciation of the system approach required to protect a facility. It gives an understanding of the use of risk assessments; product types and solutions; installation and testing. Develop an understanding of different scenarios and applications and how to protect them from the effects of a lightning strike.
