Understanding what the role of care staff is; about the Oral Health Assessment Tool & how to prevent gum disease; tooth decay & abscesses; what the guidelines are for brushing teeth & dentures; understanding about dental care. Plus; specifically for clients with learning disabilities; How to support these clients with oral care & the challenges & tips & to help overcome these.
