About the CPD course

Organisations and individuals that come into contact with children/young people on a regular basis have a ‘Duty of Care’ to put measures in place to safeguard them. This training course will provide participants with essential information related to ‘Safeguarding’ and ‘Child Protection’ policy and procedures in youth work environments. It will enhance participants knowledge; skills and attitudes to respond to ‘Safeguarding’ and ‘Child Protection’ concerns; referrals and disclosures appropriately. This course highlights key aspects best practice and relevant guidelines in safeguarding children/young people.
