About the CPD course
This course supports practitioners understanding of children’s emotions and how this is impacts on how they think; feel and respond to situations. We explore how children feel a range of emotions but often cannot express; interpret or process them like an adult. We consider strategies to support children to begin to understand; name and express their emotions. We identify how providing these opportunities supports children to develop self-regulatory skills. The concept of co regulation is also explored identifying how this supports children to process; understand and control what they are feeling whilst supporting their understanding of others feelings.
We opened our first nursery in 1991 and now operate 19 nurseries throughout the South West and Wales, with a further three opening soon!
