This Safer Recruitment in Education training course is designed to provide learners with the knowledge they need to carry out safer recruitment procedures in order to recruit people that are suitable for the role and share their expectations; attitudes; and values regarding safeguarding children. The course looks at the recruitment process for employers; volunteers; and contractors from start to finish; taking the learner through compiling recruitment documentation; preparing for and conducting interviews; carrying out pre-appointment checks; and then continuing safer recruitment practices after appointment. It also includes sections on dealing with allegations; including the procedure for allegations of low-level concerns.
