By the end of this training; participants will develop the skills to communicate effectively in adult social care negotiations; using both verbal and non-verbal techniques. They will gain confidence in challenging provider pushbacks and securing fair agreements in the best interest of residents. Through case studies and practical exercises; participants will learn to actively listen; ask the right questions; and uncover the needs of all parties involved. The session will emphasise managing difficult conversations; maintaining a collaborative approach; and building long-term relationships with providers; ensuring the best possible outcomes for service users.
