This course is for Ex manufacturers and users that need to know how to apply the latest edition of IEC 60079-14:2024* with regards to the selection and installation of cable and cable glands in Ex hazardous areas. This course covers the major technical changes; the history; new requirements and introduces a 5-step process to approach selection and installation in a safe and informed way. *IEC 60079-14 - Explosive Atmospheres: Electrical installations design; selection and installation of equipment; including initial inspection.
