About the CPD course
Our TAFL programme is a 60 hour course delivered over 4 or 10 weeks. It combines the theory of teaching Arabic as a foreign language with observed and assessed teaching practice with real students of Arabic. This course develops the skills and knowledge needed for teaching Arabic at universities; higher and further education; and language centres. You will practice innovative and creative ways of teaching in a unique course format: equal attention is paid to learning and practising. You will learn how to use a variety of approaches; including the Communicative Approach; Task Based Learning and more.
