About the CPD course
The IUMI online cargo tutorial is a professional training course and designed to widen participants knowledge and expertise in cargo insurance. The course is available online only and for self-paced study to suit the participants time frame. It consists of eleven modules; specifically designed to engage the student and to make the learning process interactive. Each module takes approximately two hours to complete. The recommended timeframe to finish all eleven modules is three months. At the end of each module the student is required a take a quiz to test their own learning at that point in the programme.
The International Union of Marine Insurance (IUMI) is a non-profit association established for the purpose of protecting, safeguarding and advancing insurers' interests in marine and all types of transport insurance. It also provides an essential forum to discuss and exchange ideas, information and statistics of common interest for marine underwriters and in exchange with other marine
professionals. IUMI currently represents over 40 national and marine market insurance and reinsurance associations.
