A 2-part course explaining and evidencing the learning theories of: Dialogic Teaching; Growth Mindset; Rosenshines Principles of Instruction; Cognitive Load Theory; Metacognition which are recommended in documents such as the Core Curriculum Framework for ITT; the Early Career Framework and prevalent in successful teaching and learning. Each is explained in detail with appropriate references and endorsements (such as material from the EEF) with examples of best practice taken from Jigsaw PSHE to illustrate their use and benefit to and impact on learners.
