About the CPD course
This course will guide participants through the relevant legislative obligations of the Electricity at Work Act; BS 7671 UK wiring regulations and BSEN 62305 Lightning Protection Standards and other BSi publications relating to surge protection measures. Including additional obligations under DSEAR and COMAH etc. The course covers SPD selection; configuration; positioning; wiring and back up protection. This course also covers the requirements for maintenance inspection and testing of SPDs under the EAWR and both standards. At the end of the course participants will sit a 30 question multi-choice paper. Successful participants will then be provided with a certificate of competence.
