About the CPD course
This one-day remote practical training course is for individuals supporting others in personal or professional settings. We explore the dynamic interplay between emotions; health; relationships; and outcomes; offering practical tools to enhance openness; resilience; and embodied emotional awareness. Participants will develop self-protection techniques; reflect on judgments; and learn to balance emotional expression and suppression. Through understanding and practice; including emotional checkpoints; and somatic tools; attendees deepen their understanding of emotions; improve communication; and create supportive; non-judgmental spaces. Ideal for those seeking to integrate emotional clarity into their work; the course equips participants with foundational skills for personal and professional growth.
Founded by Amanda Davis, Liminal Connections aims to educate Individuals and Practitioners in equitable person-centred and non-violent Emotional and Mental Health support for racial, cultural and social healing. Amanda's work supports and helps people to proudly reclaim the lost or misplaced parts of themself and their heritage, whilst supporting their wholeness when they feel emotionally vulnerable from developmental, ancestral or socio-economic inequities, in a way which honours people of the Global Majority (aka BIPOC and inclusive of mixed and/or dual heritage folk).
