Whether new or experienced; you can enrol in our online courses to quickly enhance your expertise. Track your progress and engage with units as you develop skills. The learning blocks cover Learning about homelessness and the Homelessness Reduction Act; understand how to handle applications from those at risk of homelessness and master the processes for awarding Prevention or Relief Duty. You will gain skills in evaluating cases; identifying needs; and making informed homelessness duty decisions.
Locata Housing Services runs as a not-for-profit company owned by local authorities and housing associations. We provide a complete range of web-based housing option services for councils and their partners. Built out of a Government sponsored project, the West London choice-based lettings system went live in 2001. Since then, we have developed a wide range of complementary modules, products and services that are now used by local authorities and housing associations.
