A comprehensive lymphoedema training course for healthcare professionals designed to prepare the learner with; in depth anatomy and physiology of lymphatic and venous health; skills to enable a full holistic assessment and differential diagnosis of a lymphoedema patient; provide patient education and support; design and implement a plan of care ranging from self-management to intensive therapist led treatments; practical skills to include physical assessment; measuring and fitting of garments; multi-component bandaging (MCB); fluoroscopy-guided manual lymphatic drainage (FG MLD ®). The learner will be fully prepared for a Specialist Lymphoedema practitioner role.
