About the CPD course

This training course provides a foundation in mediation for those who work with people in organisations or communities. We begin with an introduction to Conflict – exploring different styles: skills and tools. We give an overview of the theory of Negotiation and Mediation. The bulk of the time is devoted to skills work so this is an experiential course. The roleplays are based on the type of 2-party conflicts regularly faced by those taking the training together. Participants complete a portfolio for Open College Network accreditation.

Our services are based in Belfast but we work across Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Great Britain and internationally.
