Valves Maintenance

Valves have many uses. They are found in virtually every industrial process; including water and sewage processing; mining; power generation; oil and gas; food manufacturing; chemical and plastic manufacturing and others. They vary widely in form and application. Their cost ranges from simple inexpensive ones to expensive specialized ones. Money is important but also if a valve fails; this can affect environmental impact; production losses or the safety of workers. This course will focus on the maintenance of different types of valves. It covers all aspects of valve maintenance including pressure testing; valve actuators; and safety and relief valves maintenance.
