About the CPD course

This course will provide you with an understanding of what basic life support is and the responsibilities you have in carrying it out. This includes instruction on how to carry out a primary survey (DR ABC); place an individual into the recovery position; and perform CPR. It will also provide you with insight into how to safely use a defibrillator. Finally; you will learn how to administer basic first aid in a range of situations; including in response to shock; stroke; and heart attacks.
