About the CPD course

This course will provide you with an understanding of what domestic abuse is; who is at risk; and how it can occur. It will also provide you with insight into the different types of abuse and their indicators; as well as your responsibilities in safeguarding individuals who are experiencing; or at risk of; domestic abuse. You will be introduced to legislation that aims to protect individuals from domestic abuse; such as The Domestic Abuse Act 2021. Finally; you will learn how to respond to suspicions or disclosures of domestic abuse; including how to correctly raise your concerns.
